Is Trump Forcing Bibi to Build?

After it was announced today that Israel approved 2,500 homes in Judea and Samaria, Bibi Netanyahu released the following tweet:

“Agreed with Defense Minister on construction of 2,500 housing units in Judea and Samaria. We build and continue to build.”

There is no way to know the actual substance of the call between Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump, but one thing is for sure there is an apparent Trump effect.

With the approval announcement already making waves around the world, it is noteworthy that no criticism or even a peep was heard from the United States. Trump’s election is more than an earthquake in the USA, it has changed how Israel relates to itself. Donald Trump is not a man who backs away from statements.  It is not his brand.

Of all the rightwing bonafides of PM Netanyahu, he has never governed Israel with a President that will essentially let Israel be truly independent. Those who know the Prime Minister remark on the extra careful manner Bibi Netanyahu approaches everything.  This approach worked during the Obama years, but Trump is different, very different. It is obvious the Prime Minister and even the Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman have yet to truly appreciate that for the first time we may be just left alone to really develop our own future.

The one thing we know is that President Donald Trump likes winners.  He likes those that succeed.  In his mind the more you build the more you are a success. Trump never stayed still and it is why he has defied all odds to become President.  Bibi Netanyahu has been a brilliant tactitician, but there is no reason to play by the old rules anymore, the Donald is here and he wants us to build.

TRUMP EFFECT: Bibi Changing Views on Maale Adumim Annexation…and more!

After being outflanked on the right by his own party and Naftali Bennett of the Jewish Home party and even before his phone call with President Donald Trump, Bibi began to change his tune on the future of Judea and Samaria and building in Jerusalem.

Bibi made it clear that he did indeed back the proposal to annex Maale Adumim, a city of east of Jerusalem made up of 40,000 Israelis.

“The city [of Maale Adumim] will be under Israeli sovereignty,” Netanyahu pledged, “but now is not the right time to take new steps without coordinating with the US government.”

In addition to the statement, Jerusalem approved 671 homes in areas where former President Barack Obama had prevented Israel from building.

Bibi Invited to Washington in February

After their conversation, it was announced that President Trump extended an invitation to PM Netanyahu to visit Washington in February. According to reports, Bibi has asked the government to delay the annexation vote until after he meets Trump.

BREAKING NEWS: Trump Begins Discussions on Moving US Embassy to Jerusalem

Channel 2 in Israel is reporting that Trump is set to announce the US will move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on Monday.  Supporting the report’s veracity, the White House confirmed that Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and President Trump discussed the initial stages of the embassy move in their first telephone call at 1:30pm EST.

Menawhile, Palestianian President Mahmoud Abbas and the Jordanian King met in order to coordinate strategy to try thwart the planned move.

YNET is reporting that Dr. Hayel Dawood, Jordan’s Minister of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs, gave an interview to Palestinian media after the meeting. He said that Trump’s stated intention to relocate the embassy was “a dangerous development that requires an offensive position against it.” He added that the relocation “constitutes a death blow to Washington’s role as a fair mediator in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians and disregard for international resolutions that consider Jerusalem occupied territory.”

Not Clear Who Can Stop Trump

With all of the noise coming out of Rammallah and Amman, they have little power or leverage to stop President Trump from moving the embassy. Both the PA and Jordan are artificially created entities that depend on outside help to keep stable. The other countries in the region either don’t care or have other issues that are for more pressing to deal with.

POLITICAL STORM: The Left’s Mission is to Take Down Bibi

As the USA and the world await the swearing in of Donald Trump, a political storm is growing in Israel.  For years the Left and the Israeli media elite have tried their best to take down Bibi Netanyahu.  The goal has always been to replace the Likud led government with a left of center leadership that would gut Israel’s Biblical heartland by vacating the communities that have been built there. The Left was so assured that their full court press against Netanyahu would work during the last elections, when it didn’t, they were left despondent.

With Trump about to take over the reigns of leadership in America, the Israeli left knows that a permanent presence of Jews in Judea and Samaria will be a fait accompli, that is unless they can throw the government into turmoil.

Two pending cases have surfaced against Bibi Netanyahu.  One involves a friend buying expensive cigars for the Prime Minister. The other involves Bibi’s arch nemesis, owner of Yediot Aharonot Nuni Mozes and his attempt to offer favorable news coverage in place of Bibi supporting a law to shut down Israel HaYom.  Israel HaYom, owned by Sheldon Adelson is the most widely circulated newspaper in Israel and is seen as the Prime Minister’s mouth piece.

With the media pushing out a false narrative involving incomplete facts at daily intervals, Israelis have begun to accept the Left’s talking points.  Although Bibi Netanyahu is prohibited from speaking about specifics involving both cases, he released a statement over Facebook.

“In recent days, there has been an orchestrated media campaign, unprecedented in its scope, to bring down the Likud government under my leadership. This propaganda campaign is designed to pressure the Attorney General and other factors in the prosecution to indict me.

“The method is simple: Every day and every night carefully filtered transcripts and intentional lies are distributed on both issues on the agenda.

“Of course, as long as the investigation is ongoing, I cannot defend myself. I cannot tell the public the real story behind these things, which makes it clear that there was no crime here.

“Since I am prevented from going into the details of the investigation, I can say only the things that are visible and known to all: Everyone knows that I was firmly opposed to the Israel Hayom Law, which others concocted and initiated long before the 2013 election.

“For months I prevented the bringing of the law to a preliminary vote. When it did come to a vote, I voted against the law, along with a handful of Knesset members which included most of my fellow Likud members.

“It is also known that after the law was passed by a large majority, I dissolved the government and called for elections, partly because of the subversion within the government to pass the law. Everyone also knows that in the new government after the elections, I inserted an explicit clause in the coalition agreement to prevent the recurrence of such legislation.

“Because of all this – nothing happened. Israel Hayom remains intact, flourishing. While the bad media I got from Yediot Aharonot and Ynet did not stop even for a moment. So all these claims that I promoted the Israel Hayom Law are false claims. The same applies to the second issue, as will be made clear over time.”

In fact, Ron Yaron editor of Yediot Aharonot, supported Bibi’s assertion that the charges are ridiculous with the following statement reported by the Jerusalem Post:

“We all, as one, would leave and seek another home,” Yaron said. Yaron continued saying that the Yediot staff place their loyalties to the readers, “and only after that to those who pay our salaries.” Yaron also defended Mozes saying the publisher is “endlessly loyal to the readers of this paper, and to his life’s work that his father and grandfather established 77 years ago.”

Will Bibi Fall?

The answer to that depends on an affirmative to each of the following points:

  • Does the Attorney General’s want to throw the political system in turmoil over media driven allegations that maybe disproved in court?
  • Does the general populace beleive the accusations are enough for another tiring election process
  • Does Bibi lack the stamina to stand up to the Left’s unsatiated need to take him down

While the Left is pushing for new elections and some parties are already gearing up for spring time elections, most experts believe that the media and politicians are way out in front of the process by not paying attention to the above points.

The Left’s Campaign May Backfire

The Left’s only chance to regain the reigns of overt power in Israel is to smash Bibi’s control of the government.  Yet, there is a gamble in this.  If they are truly overreaching with this latest push against the Prime Minister then the public will forever punish them.  Not only that, but the Right will have cart blanche to push forward with the Nationalist camp’s vision for a strong Israel as the sovereign through out all of the Jewish people’s homeland.

Peaceful demonstrators gather in front of the Israeli embassy in Paris to protest the 70 nations that have gathered to divide Israel. The conference organized by France is set to finalize the international community’s “solution” to the “final” borders of Israel by creating a “Palestinian” State on indigenous Jewish Land.

Donald Trump has made it clear his administration opposes all efforts by the international community to force a “final solution” on Israel.

Rep. DeSantis: “All of this Land Belongs to the Jews”

Watch Rep. DeSantis of Florida, schools the left and the UN by injecting basic historical facts into the discussion regarding the “peace process” between Israel and the Arabs.

Rep. DeSantis points out the following:

  • The “West bank” otherwise known as Judea and Samaria is Jewish Land
  • The Arabs have rejected all “peace deals”
  • Even today’s Jordan originally belonged to the Jews

[watch] Arab Celebrations Continue After Terrorist Kills 4 Israelis

Featured Image Source: Tamarah

Posted by Molly Livingstone on Monday, January 9, 2017The celebrations continue for the second night after the terrorist attack. Fireworks and 4 molotov cocktails aimed at soldiers, that stand by and do not retaliate. There is also fire in the street. What you don’t see? The homes to the right, that must hear the fireworks, like bombs, night after night, children can’t sleep and wake up to the reality of hate. Did you see this on the news? How can you form an opinion when they hide the truth? Please share and let the world know that celebration, violence and harm continue. #israeliliviesmatter #truth #ArmonHanatziv

In case you were wondering that is not an Arab wedding celebration, but rather a celebration for the “successful attack against the Zionist occupier.”

In a few days time the nations of the world are set to attempt to force Israel to make peace with the Arabs living in Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem, but if the “Palestinians” celebrate the murder of young Jews no peace should ever be expected.

Local resident Molly Livingstone posted on her Facebook feed:

“Fireworks and 4 molotov cocktails aimed at soldiers, that stand by and do not retaliate. There is also fire in the street.”

Israel’s Deputy Defense Minister: “We have an obligation to protect our soldiers”

With the country still seething over the Military Tribunal’s conviction of Sgt. Elor Azaria for shooting a terrorist who was perceived to be subdued, Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben-Dahan has proposed a new bill protecting soldiers from criminal convictions is found in similar situations.

According to the bill, security forces shall not “bear criminal responsibility, nor be interrogated with a warning and will be immune from any legal proceedings due to actions they carried out or refrained from carrying out, and all before, after, and during an operational activity or terrorist attack that was not part of the day-to-day operational activities of the unit in which he/she works or serves.”

The soldier can still lose his or her immunity under the bill by abusing the bill’s mandate. “Any soldier accused of looting, destruction of property, accepting bribes, bullying or sexual offenses would not be immune to criminal prosecution.”

In a statement given to The Jerusalem Post, Ben-Dahan said that “the law sends a clear message to IDF soldiers that just as they protect us, we are protecting them.”

“The law allows IDF soldiers [to] perform their duties in defending the State of Israel fearlessly and with no concern of potential criminal prosecution while providing a stipulation which allows for the removal of the immunity if violations of the rules occur,” Ben-Dahan added. “In recent years we have seen too many soldiers and commanders suffer from a delay of justice, with long trials, and then finally be acquitted just because there are no clear legal or ethical statements that we are protecting them while they carry out their duties. As someone who served as a major in the army I’m sure it will help our soldiers. I have no doubt that MKs will support the law. “

The importance of Ben-Dahan’s proposed bill cannot be understated.  With Azaria being thrown in jail for an action that could easily happen to any combat soldier, the government needs to find a way that young combat soldiers do not lose morale and the ability to defend themselves in dangerous situations out of fear of being prosecuted.

JERUSALEM FIGHTS BACK: John Kerry Keeps Attacking Israel While It Freezes $6M To The UN

Israel has decided to retaliate against the UN over UNSC 2334 by freezing $6 million of its annual $40 million dues.

“It is unreasonable for Israel to fund bodies that operate against us at the UN. The UN must end the absurd reality in which it supports bodies whose sole intent is to spread incitement and anti-Israel propaganda,”  Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the UN said.

Given that the UN is gearing up for more anti-Israel resolutions, Israel’s move to cut money is just the first of many measures prepared in the coming weeks to fight back against the international community’s assault on the Jewish state.

Kerry: Moving US Embassy could cause ‘explosion’ in Middle East

Along with the the UN, the outgoing US secretary of state John Kerry has attacked Donald Trump’s planned move of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

“If all of a sudden, Jerusalem is declared to be the location of our embassy, that has issues of sovereignty, issues of law that would deem to be affected by that move and by the United States acquiescing in that move and that would have profound impact on the readiness of Jordan and Egypt to be able to be supportive and engaged with Israel as they are today,” Kerry said.

With January 20th just around the corner, both the US administration and the UN are working together to prepare the groundwork for one last diplomatic push that could permantently harm Israel.  This political pressure is exactly what the Republicans in the congress rebuked and censured in their Thursday vote against the UNSC.

JORDAN THREATENS DONALD TRUMP: Moving US Embassy to Jerusalem is Crossing a Redline

A Jordanian govenment spokesman, speaking to the Associated Press warned President-Elect Donald Trump that his planned move of the US Embassy to Jerusalem is “crossing a redline” and will be “catostrophic.”

Momani, the Jordanian minister, said that moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem “will have catastrophic implications on several levels, including the regional situation.” He said countries in the region would likely “think about different things and steps they should take in order to stop this from happening.”

“It will definitely affect the bilateral relationship between countries in the region, including Jordan, and the parties that will be related to such a decision,” he said.

As January 20th draws closer, the Middle East awaits hisDonald Trump’s policy, which by all indications will be decidely pro-Israel. In fact Last month, Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway was quoted as saying that moving the embassy to Jerusalem is a “very big priority” for the president-elect.

Jordan is a Make Believe Country

One of the reasons why Jordan is afraid of Trump’s move is that the Kingdom is actually carved out of the original Palestinian Mandate as a gift to the Hussein family for their support of the British in World War One.  The King and his family are originally from what is today the Arabian penninsula.  His control over Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem is the only thing that gives him gravitas in the Muslim world.

Any solidification of Israel’s control over the Jewish capital of Jerusalem would reveal that the King of Jordan is a paper tiger with no real power.  He is propped up by American tax payer dollars and Israeli security forces.  Without them, he would have fallen to the majority Palestinian populace he brutally controls a long time ago.
